I am a firm believer that small businesses are being underserved. For most small businesses, the term small is misleading. They are only small for a short time, then they grow out of that label or become non-existent. The majority of the software development community sees small business as a means to get by until they find something better to do. I don't.

Change is required to make the internet a viable dream for many businesses. There was a high startup cost and a high degree of technical knowledge required. Hosting providers such as GoDaddy and Register.com offer website packages, but they do not meet the needs and customizability requirements of a growing business. Each business has a different business model and that model changes to meet the needs of the target market or to adjust for new opportunities.

The engineering term for the ability of software to change is extensibility. Today's world changes at nearly the speed of light. If your internet presence is not ready to adapt, because of a lack of extensibility, then time and money will be lost. The old way of doing things was to let technology dictate business. Small businesses need a place to go to find internet services that meet their needs.

I have an idea to solve this but I am not ready to release it quite yet. It needs to steep for a while but below is a quick sneak peak at an emerging technology.
